NAFASI YANGU CBO (SIAYA LBQ FEMINIST COMMUNITY) was formed and registered with social services of Kenya in October, the year 2020. Our operational area is Bondo sub county, Siaya county, western Kenya region in Kenya. This community is a remote rural area that is strict on traditional cultural beliefs and male persons dominance, discrimination against women and girls. Our main aim is to empower LBQ/GNC persons to speak against social and cultural biases against LBQ/GNC human rights and create a safe space for open and authentic conversations around SRHR, Safety and Security, Economic Empowerment and Capacity Building.
